About |
RmscopII is a Tcl/Tk script responsible to redirect protein structure files (PDB files) or RasMol scripts to multiple RasMol sessions. The original program was written for the SCOP web site.
RmscopII allows more general usages and is known to work for example with the DALI, 3Dee and CATH web sites.
RmscopII is useful for people who need to look at many protein structures possibly rendered in different ways. RmscopII is mainly used to interface your web browser with RasMol which is the most widely used application for rendering protein structrures. However, it also offers options to be used in the command line. RmscopII runs on UNIX, MSWindows and Mac platforms with Tcl/Tk version 8.3 or higher. |
